Two for the price of One - All Bummed out

For this week's Bellariffic Friday the theme was "Showers" so anything from baby, wedding, to just singing in the rain...anything goes! So I thought why not have some fun with a baby shower card and colour not just one but two! One for a boy and one for a girl. I also had a baby shower on Monday where the mother-to-be is having a little boy....talk about great timing :)
I chose the super cute All bummed out baby for this task and stamped it out in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and as always I coloured them both in with Prismacolor pencil crayons.

All bummed out Baby Girl:

The patterned paper I used Echo Park "Little Girl" (so appropriate I thought!) and Bo Bunny Kiwi Double Dot. I also used one of my Nestie sets, the Eyelet Cirlce.

For the All bummed out Baby Boy:
The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye Stomp Big Attitude Plaid Sky. I also used sparkles on both cards to finish the off.

Hope you love them as much as I do :)

Thanks a bunch.

Happy Easter with Uptown Bunny Girl

So I must say that I'm so sorry for letting this post be so LATE....but as they say "It's better late then never!"
For this Bellariffic Friday, we had another beautiful sketch from Ebru and because of Easter on the weekend, the image I chose was the Uptown girl Bunny and her Daffodil. I just love this image...she is just adorable and the little chicks are so cute...aren't they?

I stamped out the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with all my Prismacolor pencil crayons. The patterned paper I used was one of my favourites by Imaginisce "Fairest of them all, magic meadow" and Bo Bunny Aquamarie Dot. I also used some white SU grosgrain ribbon and then I completed the look with some sparkles to jazz it up!

I hope everyone had a very Happy Easter and the bunny brought you lots of wonderful treats! Lots of love to my wonderful family xoxo

Thanks a bunch

You crack me up!

For this week's Bellariffic Friday, the theme was Spring or Easter, so I decided to go with the Easter theme...as it's almost here! Side note...I CAN'T wait till Easter as I have given up ALL SWEETS for lent...so I am in need of some serious chocolate!
Anywhoo back to my card :) I decided to stamp out the adorable Cracked Up Huggabugg by Christy Croll. I stamped out my image with Memento Black ink and coloured it in with my Prismacolor pencil crayons.

I copied a layout from a Sweet Sunday Sketch which I have linked here if you like it. I did tweak it a bit but still stuck with the concept. The designer paper I used was My Mind's Eye called Pretty Please Blossoms. I also used one of my Nesties called "Blossom Three" to bring in the "spring" theme. I then used some SU polka dot grosgrain ribbon and three little sparkly dots to finish the look.

Super excited for this weekend as the whole family are heading up to Prince Edward County for their Maple Festival....all things maple = YUM!

Have a great weekend everyone :)

Thanks a bunch, Lindsay

Happy Friday Everyone!

What a busy week it's been...but a very productive one too! I have to say though that I took an extra long break yesterday to look at all the new Stamping Bella stamps and fell in love with too many! I have a feeling that it's going to be hard to choose which ones to order first, so don't tell my husband Tyler that it's going to be a big order....shhhhh!

Anywhoo, here is my bellariffic card this week...I hope you love it as much as I do!
The stamp I used today was the super cute What's Cookin by Mo Manning from Stamping Bella. I stamped her out with Memento Black ink and then coloured her with an array of my prismacolours. The designer paper is from My Minds Eye called Whirlybird Shine. I also used some SU ribbon and some sparkles to really make her apron special. Ok...that's it...now off to enjoy the rest of this amazing weather we've been having.

Thanks a bunch and have a great weekend!

My first official card post

Well, it's finally here - my first card posting!  I am so excited.  From the minute I walked into Stamping Bella I was in LUV!  So, it's appropriate that my first card is from Stamping Bella.  I'm excited to start with Bellariffic Friday and today all I had to do was use green on my card.

I used Memento Tuxedo black ink to stamp Clara Lulu.  I chose some fun papers from my scrap pile and it's a big pile so look for more scraps in cards to come.  I coloured Clara with gamsol and pencil crayons.  It's my most favourite way to colour.  In fact, it's my only way to colour!  I shaded around Clara and used a bit of glitter on her floatie!

Thanks so much for looking at my first card - hope you liked it.

Thanks a bunch.

Welcome friends and stampers alike. I am very proud of myself for starting my very first blog...Yippie! Hopefully I will figure all this "bloggeriffic bliss" out as I'm such a newbie at this...so any help would be MUCH appreciated!

I'm a huge card making fanatic and love getting together with our stamping group to sit back, relax and stamp to our hearts content. I colour all my images with gamsol and "stubbies", as I like to call them. This technique gives the images a beautiful watercolour effect. Can't wait to show you all the lovely creations I can make...so stay tuned.

Thanks for stopping by and I will have some fabulous cards posted soon :)

Thanks a bunch, Lindsay
